sign_cfcWelcome to everyone who is participating in the IWDA Challenge for Change cycle trip to Cambodia.

This is a very exciting event for IWDA and I would like to congratulate every individual who has accepted the challenge to raise funds for women and their families in Asia and the Pacific. These funds are much needed to address the inequalities in the communities we work in whether it be through education, violence against women or access to loans to create small businesses.

This is the first time in our 22 year history that IWDA supporters have had access to our project partner organisations. Those going on this trip will be lucky enough to meet with the strong Cambodian women who have campaigned against violence against women for the past 30 years. Participants will also meet with some of the women who actively de-mine Cambodia – no easy task!

Not only is this a fundraising event but also a physical challenge and I look forward to hearing your tales of the riding and seeing the photos you will take.

I wish you all well in your fundraising efforts and would like to extend my thanks to your friends, families, workplaces and local communities who will inevitably assist you in your fundraising efforts.

I look forward to hearing all your stories!

Best wishes,
