Engendering Conflict Early Warning Systems

Dr Annaliese Moser spoke at a recent IWDA-UNIFEM event. The first of its kind, the project aimed to examine the advantages of mainstreaming gender into a system for monitoring and anticipating armed conflict. Dr Annalise Moser outlines the methodology and lessons learned from this experience, including developing indicators for gender analysis and involving women in conflict prevention processes.
