Congratulations: Professor Marilyn Waring receives New Zealand Order of Merit

Professor Marilyn Waring Professor Marilyn Waring is a long time activist for women’s human rights both in the Pacific and Internationally. As an academic she has informed and led debate on many feminist issues, especially in the field of women and economics. IWDA has had a long and active relationship with Marilyn and despite her heavy workload, she has always found time to give insight, support and suggestion to IWDA incentives, research and programs.

IWDA would like to congratulate Marilyn on being made a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit.
