Victorian Bushfires

The Staff and Board at IWDA extend our heartfelt sympathies to the women, men, families and communities affected by the devastating Victorian bushfires.

We offer solidarity to friends and supporters of IWDA affected by the fires, especially those who have lost loved ones and homes – you are in our hearts and thoughts at this very sad time.

We also celebrate the extraordinary community resilience and spontaneous mobilisation of voluntary effort that has been so evident in recent days.  If you would like to contribute to the Bushfire Appeal please visit the Red Cross website

Our Community has created a “one stop shop” to help out individuals and workplaces who want to contribute to the emergency and recovery efforts, it lists the various ways people can help out people affected by the Victorian bushfires
