Consultant – Gender Equality and Poverty Reduction

The Gender Team of the Bureau for Development Policy (BDP) is the institutional anchor of UNDP’s work on gender equality and women’s empowerment.

It provides core services designed to support global, regional and national efforts to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment in the areas of technical and policy advice, policy analysis, advocacy and knowledge brokering.

The primary objective of this project is to provide a contribution to the preparations for the 15 year review of the Beijing Platform for Action through the organisation of an e-discussion on one of the critical areas of concern of the Beijing Platform for Action: Women and Poverty.
