| Other Info | Join International Women's Development Agency for a special private screening of this "irresistible reminder of nearly everything that makes the movies great" (New York Times). The proceeds from this screening will benefit IWDA's work supporting women and girls in Asia and the Pacific. The Artist is a "delightfully inventive comedy" (Time) about a romance between two stars in Hollywood at the end of the 1920s, and the conflict brought about by the rise of the talkie era. The Artist has been named the best film of the year by the New York Film Critics Circle, and has received more Golden Globe nominations this year than any other film - according to The Hollywood Reporter, it's "angling to become the first non-talkie to win the best picture prize in 83 years" at the Oscars! Join us to see the film event of the year on the big screen, experience a delightfully funny romance and show your support for gender equality and IWDA! Buy tickets for The Artist. |
