Workplace Giving

Workplace giving is a simple way for people to donate regularly to IWDA through an automatic payroll deduction. It enables employees to support us, no matter how busy they are, and provides crucial support for our work.

IWDA would be delighted to build a relationship with your business or employer to make this a mutually-beneficial relationship. Suitable for small, medium or large enterprises, employees voluntarily participate at their chosen level of donation, which is deducted from their pre-tax salary. There is no need to collect receipts – an end of year summary will be provided by IWDA.

IWDA would be delightedto be a charity of choice for established workplace giving programs. We are happy to provide speakers and materials to for people in your workplace- just call us.

Only $5 per week given by 30 staff amounts to $7560 per year, which can fund seven young Burmese refugee women to study and live in a leadership school on the Thai Burma border for an entire year.

The impact on your take home pay is even less – only $2.82 after tax (or 1 coffee!) or $146.90 from your pocket in a year, which amounts to $260 for IWDA, due the tax arrangements of workplace giving.

Consider Workplace Giving with IWDA today! Call 1300 661 812 or use our contact form.

Assistance is available for establishing a payroll giving system via IWDA or from the Australian government.
