Become an Empower Supporter

Many people like you choose to support International Women’s Development Agency with regular donations. Their donations support our valuable work for the empowerment of women in developing countries.

Empower is the monthly donation program that provides IWDA with reliable support. Empower monthly contributions enable IWDA to fund women’s practical and innovative solutions to crucial issues in their local communities, in forms including micro-finance, post-tsunami reconstruction, countering violence against women, education or access to reproductive services.

With a simple auto-donation you empower women to do amazing things: in East Timor literacy training means women can defend their rights; in Sri Lanka women’s savings groups help families rise above poverty, and on the Thai-Burma border women’s support networks give hope to survivors of sexual violence.

As an Empower donor you give IWDA the ability to work with innovative pilot projects – designed to test a new idea, a new partnership or a new approach to an old problem.

We look forward to working to with you to create change for women and their communities throughout the Asia Pacific region, providing them with the means to empower themselves.
