Projects Overview

IWDA undertakes projects in partnership with women from around the Asia-Pacific region giving priority to working with women who suffer poverty and oppression.

IWDA’s overseas projects are devised and managed by the women who live and work in their communities. This helps to ensure their relevance and effectiveness to these women and their communities.

IWDA’s program priorities are to increase women’s skills and participation in decision-making, improve their livelihood and reproductive health, combat gender-based violence and encourage sustainable environmental management.
