Rialto Photo

Goal

The object is to raise funds through sponsorship and donations, to support two important projects:

  • IWDA’s project with Live and Learn Environmental Education – Rebuild women’s livelihoods in the Maldives after the Tsunami through an income generation project growing chillies!
  • The Broadbridge Education Centre – help to secure the future of the centre by covering the teacher’s salary until 2010;

The Event

Centred on the number 3, to mark the third anniversary of the Boxing Day Tsunami, the event will showcase 3 teams who will racing up the Rialto building on Boxing Day, December 26 2007. The teams will run up the 55 floors in 33 minutes or less – that’s 36 seconds a floor!!

The Teams

  1. Trisha Broadbridge and Lynden Dunn from Melbourne Football Club
  2. Rob Mills and
  3. Clint Stanaway and Alex Fevola

Boxing Day Breakfast

While the three teams are sweating up the Rialto, you can relax over breakfast on the Melbourne Observation Deck. The cost for breakfast is a modest $33 (the number 3 again) and you get to see the runners complete the race. Ticketing will be handled by the Rialto Towers and they will donate back all proceeds to the event.

For Boxing Day Breakfast bookings please contact Kim Thorne on 03 9629 8222 (ext 0) or k.thorne@rialto.com.au
