IWDA invites you to the opening night fundraiser screening of The Last Station

Date: Thursday 1st April, 2010
Time: 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start at the Cinema Nova, Carlton
The Last Station is a layered, rich and emotional story about the tumultuous 50 year relationship between pre-eminent Russian novelist, Leo Tolstoy, and his devoted wife, Countess Sofya.

It speaks of the hardships of living with love and the impossibility of living without it.

“This is the year’s best female performance”.
New York Post

With an Academy Awards Nomination for the Best Actress in a Leading Role, on top of a Best Actress Golden Globe Nomination, Helen Mirren’s performance, along with her fellow actors, is not to be missed.

Sound interesting?
