Organise an Event

Women are powerful agents of change, so let’s celebrate!Margot Prior and Lady Lyn Nossal

Holding an event that raises funds and awareness for IWDA and their partners is an exciting way to foster a link between your own circle of friends, family or colleagues and women and their families in Asia and the Pacific.

An event of any size will have a positive impact on IWDA’s ability to support grassroots women’s projects and promote positive change for women and their communities.

IWDA’s 25th Anniversary is a fantastic excuse to get together with your friends and family, so why not host an event of your own?

Sound like too much work? It’s easy!

For those of you keen to practice your culinary skills, you could fill your dining table with good food, good friends and good wine by hosting a dinner in your home, asking your guests to contribute what they would normally spend on dining out for an evening to IWDA.

If it’s time for that wardrobe clear-out you’ve been procrastinating, why not charge gold coin entry and organise a clothes swap with friends?

Or you could hold a talent night…no talent necessary!
