16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence is an international campaign that aims to draw attention to the issue of gender-based violence around the world. The 16 Days campaign takes place each year starting on November 25th, the International Day Against Violence Against Women, and continuing through to December 10th, International Human Rights Day, in order to emphasise that gender-based violence is a fundamental violation of human rights.
IWDA participates in the 16 Days campaign each year by highlighting our partners’ work against gender violence and in support of individuals who have experienced gender violence. Please follow the links below to find our pieces from the 2011 and 2010 16 Days campaigns.
