Become an Empower Supporter
Empower is the monthly donation program that provides IWDA with reliable support. IWDA would like to recognise our Empower Supporters for their regular investment and confidence in our work and the work of our partners.
Empower monthly contributions enable IWDA to fund women’s practical and innovative solutions to crucial issues in their local communities, in forms including micro-finance, post-tsunami reconstruction, countering violence against women, education or access to reproductive services.
Empower Supporters work with IWDA to create change for women and their communities throughout the Asia Pacific region, providing them with the means to empower themselves.
With a simple auto-donation you can empower women to do amazing things. To support our valuable work for the empowerment of women in developing countries, become an Empower Supporter.

“Congratulations to IWDA on 25 years of struggle, effort and passion. My small contribution serves as a monthly reminder that the efforts of IWDA, like the constant housework all us women face every day, seems almost never ending.
Then I look at my daughter, born during the life of IWDA, and realise there is hope, there is change, women will be free and equal everywhere in the world.
The belief that through IWDA we can and do make a difference to the lives of so many women, women we may never meet but who we cherish as sisters and daughters, is so important to nourish and keep alive. Please IWDA keep working, keep going and I will keep contributing.”
Glenis Lloyd – Empower Supporter since 1986. *** Glenis has preferred to have her daughter Tosca in the photo, her ‘constant reminder of hope that women will continue to support each other in the next generation‘.
