Following the Paris Agreement on climate change, many are calling for women to be empowered in the response to climate change.

The Leitana Nehan Women’s Development Agency in Papua New Guinea supports local women to participate in rapid response teams.

This work is used as an example of grassroots women’s empowerment to respond to climate change.
